I’m returning my Ionic and finding another solution. On average, my Ionic would generate a HR approx 30 BPM higher than it actually is, so for me, what’s the point of wearing it, if it’s so inaccurate, I might as well place a watch calculator and have it generate arbitrary numbers for $1. My sleep analysis is only showing I sleep 2 hrs a night, when i’ve Been asleep for 6+. The only thing it’s accurate on is the time. I researched this watch prior to purchasing, but didn’t think that a kids toy watch would out perform this one. I’m extremely upset and let down, as I’ve been saving to get this watch for some time. I’m training for several mtn bike races and wanted to track sleep/resting HR’s as well as use the on board workouts. This was my first and possibly only Fitbit purchase. I’ve moved the watch to all the places on my wrist as Fitbit recommends and still, 20-30 beats above actual, my wife saw my HR and scheduled a doctors appointment for me, it gave her a panic attack in the middle of the night. Thanks for that.
