HR data showing when Ionic wasn't on my wrist

Yesterday. I had a very athletic day, catching a baseball game in the morning and again in the afternoon. My heart rate data would have been well elevated for that entire period. And my heart rate graph showed that.

There was only one real problem. My fitbit was at home on the bathroom sink, my phone was in my bag most of the day, I handled my phone a couple times during the games. BUT never had my fitbit on.

Ive never seen the watch do this before, and I look at my graph every day. It may be a coincidence but in as much as the timing of the graphs is specific. I dont think so. The graph is exactly as if I had been wearing the watch.

Can anyone explain this?

@AquamanJon It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for taking the time to share what you experienced with your Ionic.

It's pretty weird that even though you weren't wearing your Ionic, it still tracked your HR data. I would like you to ensure that you're turning off your heart rate setting whenever you won't be using it. To do so, go to your Ionic's settings > Heart Rate > choose 'Off'.

If this happens again, please let me know. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

It happened again today. My watch is on the bathroom counter. The heart rate graph reflects nearly exactly my athletic day as if I had the watch on all day.

@AquamanJon Thanks for getting back.

I appreciate that you mentioned it happened again. I would like you to confirm that you're turning off the heart rate feature whenever you won't be using your Ionic.

If your heart rate feature is turned off but you're still experiencing this, let me know.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!
