HR off when swimming and saying not enough power

My Iconic stopped taking my pulse and I'm still alive and 18 minutes into my swim routine it stopped.  The display on the watch is now telling me there is not enough charging power in my supply from my Mac

It's great to see you around @MickJim. Thanks for the details that you've mentioned.

When you're tracking a swimming workout, your heart rate will turn off automatically. You can learn more about it by checking this article: How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device?.

Regarding charging your Ionic, but this time try changing USB ports and fully charge it again. Also, I would like to know if you're getting any message in your Ionic directly or if it's just not charging.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Hi Sylvia,  Thanks for answer to my query.  Yesterday I contacted FitBit Help and helpful they were.  My Iconic is dead.  Judging by the weird performance it must have been in great pain.  It would not take a charge and we decided to turn off its life support.  As I have only had it since May last year it was still in its warranty period and I am having it replaced.  We tried everything we could to save it, however to no avail and is now resting peacefully on my desk.  I look forward to the replacement Iconic and at 73 I hope to outlive this one as well.

Cheers

Jim

Thanks for getting back @MickJim. I'm glad to hear that you're receiving another Fitbit Ionic and the previous one is resting peacefully now.

It's super good to hear that you're exercising and reaching your goals with Ionic's help. You can check this article to learn how to set up your new Ionic to your existing account.

I'll be around if you need further assistance. Robot Happy
