Hi,
I'm considering to pre-order the new Fitbit Ionic but I have a very crucial question... I never had a Fitbit device before so I'm wondering if it's possible to turn off 'all' the vibration (haptic feedback) on the watch such as vibrations while you get a notification or an alarm or when you reached a goal or going to start a new training etc...? That is very important to me because I have a sort of allergy to haptic feedback 😕 I hope it's possible completely disable the vibrations. Can somebody tell me more about this because I love the specs of the new Fitbit Ionic.
Kind regards,
Memo

There is a user configurable setting for Vibrations. Unfortunately the manual only shows it set to "strong", so I've no idea what the other options are. However poking around in the SDK does show the Haptics API does have a "stop" option. Also there is a user setting API called "vibrationEnabled", which indicates whether device vibration is enabled, or not. So I'm guess yes it's possible.
