I do like my Ionic. I do not like how the bands attach. I have purchased a few bands. They all broke, including the original band. The connectors are plastic. They break, and the band falls off. I'm surprised I haven't lost my Ionic yet. Has anybody found a replacement band that doesn't have a plastic connector? I'm tired of buying bands.

Can't say I have, but both my original Fitbit bands look brand new. Apparently yours are not.
How tight is the ionic being worn?
Can at least one finger for easily behind the band?

It isn't too tight. I can easily fit one finger under the band. Maybe it's just me 🙂

@DianeinMich, I had a similar problem after trying several after market bands. I have one now that has not come off (yes, in my various attempts at replacement bands, including the one that came with the watch, I've dropped the Ionic once or twice and it still works, thank God). You might look at these on Amazon. https://smile.amazon.com/Allbingo-Feminine-Replacement-Smartwatch-Wristbands/dp/B07BVPCW2D/ref=sr_1_...
They are a bit more expensive than the usual collection of after market bands, but I've been wearing mine for about 6 months now and it has not broken or come off. I check the connection every so often and it's tight.

Mine break all the time too. Fitbit and after market ones, although the fitbit ones have hung on a little longer. I think it's because i have a small wrist and there is no flesh under where the clasps are. I agree that the design is not good.

I'm amazed at how your bands are breaking all the time. I've had luck with the ionic sport band. Hiked 600 miles with them over a months time and it still looks brand new.

It is steel and magnetic. I have worn it for 4 months now and it is the most comfortable watch band I have ever owned. Strong too--I can pull on the band from both sides of the watch (not TOO hard obviously) with no problem. The connectors are metal. Also I wear my band tight all the time. Hope this helps.

Mine breaks at the worst times, typically 1 to 2 times a day, and it is extremely frustrating. I cant believe they released the Ionic with such a faulty band attachment. If I had known, I would have purchased a different version. For anyone that is active, the Ionic is a terrible choice unless you don't mind a little duct tape.
