Having issues transferring music to Ionic

Hi, just received my Ionic, and I am try to put music on it from my personal collection, I have gone on to my laptop but it is not finding the Ionic, saying Ionic is only for mobile, how can I then transfer my music, if I can’t upgrade on the computer

It's great to have you here @Shona03! In order to transfer music to your Ionic, you need to install Fitbit Connect app if you're using Mac or Windows 7/8 PC or Fitbit app with Windows 10 PC. I would like you to make sure you're following this procedure How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch?.
