When I plug my Ionic into my laptop to charge, it never just sits there until it gets to 100%. Inevitably, after a few minutes, when I check to see if it's still charging, it isn't. Instead it's on the "Not Charging" "Not enough power detected from this source" "Okay" screen. So I press okay and it starts charging again. I have to do that around 20 or 30 times for it to reach 100% charge. It's soooooo annoying.
I've tried rubbing the contacts on the back of the Ionic on fabric to remove any dirt, but it doesn't solve it. Has anyone had and then overcome this problem? If so, I'd love to hear how you solved it.

@TwigletPincher - you can probably resolve the problem by buying an adapter then plugging the Ionic into a wall plug, rather than charging form your laptop.

That resolved it for me too.

I tried different chargers and it made no difference. Cleaning the terminals more vigorously worked for me.
