I just updated the new firmware. Now my Charge HR heart rate at resting displays an inaccurately higher heart rate in the app.

@Winklebottom Yeah, it shows both higher and lower when I'm on the treadmill. It actually showed my heart rate down to somewhere in the 60s towards the end of my workout this morning. And it showed it in the 170s towards the beginning. Granted, I would have been walking during the former and running during the latter, but that's still not right.

Also, the weather app only syncs sporadically and the customizations for the third party clocks don't take effect. Another user fixed these problems by doing a factory reset on the watch and setting it up again, but I don't think it's reasonable to have to do this.

Yes, my HR went to -- rebooted the watch and it is mostly back to normal, though sitting working at my desk it did show a HR of 90+ BPM must be the dub step I'm listening too 😄

@SunsetRunner I've restarted a few times since the update. What piece of modern tech do you need to restart every day or more? Only your fitbit, I guess.

@meresydotes There is so much in firmware updates these days 🙂 so hopefully with future updates they will iron out these bugs, but you are right it shouldn't need a restart to get things working correctly which would indicate issues in the code (firmware).

However since the restart its been fine for me.

Subsequent to my previous post; i.e., that the heart rate monitor was displaying an incorrrect and higher heart rate than what I actually had, I discovered that although the (Iphone) Fitbit app showed, upon syncing, that my battery still had a charge, it actually had no charge.  After plugging it in to charge and resyncing, my Fitbit Charge HR is back to normal.
