@AndyStamford It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for attaching a screenshot of your heart rate data.
The number you're seeing on your Fitbit app is the heart rate average for the whole day. However, if you tap on the tile you'll see more details about your heart rate data, your HR will be higher or lower depending on the activity that you were doing.
Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Have a similar problem. My IONIC showed a HR of 128 when an ECG showed it to be 60 bpm. ECG was a result of seeing my GP for an emergency appointment because of the tachycardia. Waste of time, waste of money so finally decided t ditch FITBIT after 5 years and move to an Apple Watch.

@AndyStamford Thanks for getting back. I would like you to confirm you've tried the tips mentioned in this article: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
@rogerth Welcome to the Community. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with your Ionic, sorry to hear that you had that experience with your watch. Hope you could give us another opportunity in the future.

I have the Ionic and have participated on a number of threads here about erroneously high heart rates as well as made multiple calls to customer service to get nowhere. I and other users have been told they are working on it as well. If Fitbit stopped selling the Ionic they would probably go belly up, notwithstanding the Google acquisition. So even though they should have stopped selling this watch/tracker they have kept it on the market in an attempt to survive. That's my take on this. I still am so surprised by this dynamic especially since I had a Surge tracker that didn't display the same problem.
