My Ionic heart rate records extremely high heart rates usually in the beginning of a workout. If I take it off and put it back on and heart rate usually goes back to reasonable rates for the exercise.
Why is this happening?
Best,
Steve

It's great to see you around @Stephen1124. Thanks for the details that you've mentioned.
I would like you to confirm that you're properly wearing your Ionic and check tips on this article to learn about what could affect the heart rate data: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?.
If you're still receiving a hight heart rate data at the beginning, answer to the following questions:
- What were you doing when you noticed the problem? If you were exercising, specifically which types of exercise?
-- Were you wearing the tracker particularly tight or loose?
-- What was the tracker's position on your wrist? Was it where people typically put a watch or was it
higher up on your wrist?
-- Please share any other information you think will be helpful.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
