Sometimes when I remove my Ionic the green laser stays on and I can’t get it to go off. Does anyone know why and how I can get it to turn off?

Hi @HerbM, welcome to the Community Forums!

 

I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to try restarting your Ionic device following the next steps:

 

  1. For Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device? 

You can also turn them off manually. To do so on your device, please follow the next steps:

 
Open the Settings app.
Find Heart Rate. > Turn the sensors off. 

 

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
