Anyone else found that sometimes the heart rate goes crazy when you are not wearing it? It is suppose to turn the heart rate sensor off. I spend hours in the cardio zone and it messes up my average resting heart rate stats. Can't decide if it's a reflection.

@oiOLLIEoi I hope you're doing well! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with the heart rate graph shown on the app while Ionic is off your wrist.
Is this still happening to you? I see the graph is from April the 16th. Can you please share a screen shot of a more recent one to compare with this one?
So, when you take off Ionic, do you see the green light of the heart rate sensor going off? When taking if off, please turn the heart rate sensor off (on your Settings app on Ionic) and sync. Check if it will continue to track this.
Also, please perform a restart on Ionic. This should help you out too.
Try this out and let me know how it goes!

I haven’t noticed it doing it anymore. I make sure I don’t rest it flat on a surface.

@oiOLLIEoi Thanks for your reply and for providing those important details.
I'm really glad to read that it is not doing it anymore and that you are back on track now. Thanks for sharing the tip of not resting it flat on a surface. I'm sure this will help other users too.
Also, take a look at the Discussions Board as you will find a lot of interesting things there. Feel free to post on any thread you want. If you are looking for Fitbit friends to compete with on challenges, check this thread to add some!

So i was looking at all the forums all the questions and it seemed odd to me that this was going on.... one thing i noticed on mine is that my HR sensor will stay on when useing clocks not made by fitbit. I switched the clock face to a fitbit clock face and resolved HR dosent show if not on skin!!! Pass the word around!!
