It would seem to me, if Fitbit built in the capability of monitoring a pulse rate, more emphasis would be placed on sharing those heart rates with other APPS. Unless their company ego's and engineer designers think they are the only watch product out there. Consumers want to keep track of their health, I know I do especially in retirement. Especially when a FF's life expectancy is shorter then other professions after they retire. I guess I should have done more research on watches before this purchase. Get rid of your ego's and do what's right. Develop an APP that will give graphs for resting heart rates and workout heart rates. It can't be that hard, don't reinvent the wheel, look at other APPS, change it just a little and put it out to consumers. Charge 2.99 for the download and get your money back, or probably make money in the long run.

“Develop an APP that will give graphs for resting heart rates and workout heart rates.”
There is an App that shows a graph of your heart rate over 5 min period intervals. It is a free download. Check it out under All Apps in Fitbit Mobile. The screen on the Ionic stays on full time and ends when you want. Maybe this will work for you. Try it.

Still trying to find where this is located. Is that something that goes on my watch or on my smartphone?
