I've been using my Ionic for about 2 years now. For the past 3 weeks I've been getting extremely high heart rate readings both at rest and workouts. They have been well above 50 over the normal.
I read through the forum and tried adjusting my band multiple times, shutting down the device, and doing a factory reset. My Ionic is reading 103 with me just sitting on the couch. It's getting to the point that I might have to toss it and go with another brand. Does anyone else have any recommendations?

Hello @Mark.T., welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for troubleshooting your device before posting. If you haven't already done so, we recommend you to check the information and details that are specified on our help article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted.

I tried all of these which I stated in my previous post. My heart rate reading stays high whether I'm wearing the watch or not.
