High heart rate when resting, leading to upwards of 6000 calories

So I've had my ionic for a day and it says I've burned 6600 calories which is impossible, I've been relatively inactive only getting 4500 steps, for most of the day I've been sitting down, however in the heart rate tab it says I've been fatburning for 7 hours and 25 minutes, I think I'll have to go to the doctors because it's definitely not normal and it's not the first device to have a high heart rate reading so it must be me or something I've completely missed ? Any suggestions

I'd be curious about your resting heart rate, but it generally takes a few days to get a consistent reading of that.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I know it does, but I've had fitbits before that I've returned because it was thought to be an issue with the sensor, but this is the second one to show me an extremely high heart rate, and say I've been in the fatburning zone for an insane amount of hours when I've been sitting for prolonged periods of time, my actual resting heart rate is accurate, around 55-65, it's during the day when I'm not doing anything but sitting I get the readings all day of anywhere from 101-120
