How can I see my Heartrate on my iPhone?

Hi, I Cycle alot and as part of my training I want to control my Heartrate throughout my ride. To do this effectively I need to be able to see my Heartrate, prefably prominent on Screen, while I Cycle. When I start to record an activity with the Ionic, the Heartrate in the Dashboard shows two dashes - - . Is there anyway to change this? Is there another App which can display my heartrate? I have tried Wahoo and Runtastic, but the do not work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the Fitbit App Dashboard, click on the Account Icon at the upper right and then on Ionic.  Scroll down and turn ON "Live Data" and sync your tracker. That's on a Windows 10 computer so phones may be different.
