How do I play music using Ionic and Airpods?

I finally got my music transferred and my Airpods synced, so now how do I play music?  I click the shuffle all button and nothing happens.  I click on a particular song, it turns purple, but it doesn't start playing.  What am I doing wrong?  Also once I finally get the music playing, how do I control the volume?

I would like you to make sure you've followed this procedure to pair your Ionic with your Airpods. At the moment, your watch won't be able to control the music volume while using your Airpods.

Hi @SilviaFitbit, I figured out the problem. I had previously paired the AirPods but the pairing was interrupted. I just needed to re-pair the two. I am good to go. Thank you for your help.
