Are you asking about how to setup WiFi @Ekam1125?
Or how to turn it on?
When the ionic is plugged in and Charging, it will turn on it's WiFi.

My Wi fi won't connect anymore to transfer music since the lastest update- when will this be fixed? I have been trying and all it does is spin and spin looking and I have tried adding manually and did ALL the troubleshooting tips and nothing is working. How can this be so hard to use when other company products work seamlessly.

there is no area called "wi-fi settings" - there is however, an area called "wi-fi setup". if this is what you mean it doesn't work. But it would really help if you identified the menu items correctly...geesh.

At what step does the setup process fail. I don't see anything that may help us.
Sorry i did not have the Ionic setup to my account.
The instructions may be found in your user manual or Fitbits searchable interactive help site. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-2/How-to-change-the-time-on-my-Fitbit-Charge-2/m-p/2070594/hi...

This is not a solution at all. We know how you are suppose to turn on the WIFI, but it still won't connect.

@Bgfines the original poster never didn't really ask about that.
Is your WiFi compatible with Fitbit. IE 2.4ghz

Yeah, you're right. Sorry, just frustrated with my watch. Stopped working 3 days ago and spent hours searching for a fix. Couldn't find a solution anywhere. I did get it working briefly yesterday, but only for 18 hours. It's not working again. Very frustrating.

You don't need WiFi to setup the tracker.

Ok I'm not sure what was not working, what you got working, but Wi-Fi is only absolutely needed for syncing music. Everything else may be done completely through Bluetooth.

I'll tell you what's not working. Everything, no tracking of any kind whatsoever. I'm constantly getting notifications that my firmware needs updating. I go through the update process and it suggests I should use wifi to connect. It wouldn't connect to my wifi so I used bluetooth. 10 minutes later I get another notification that new firmware is available. It goes on and on.
At any rate, I now know it's not a wifi problem. Not connecting to my WIFI was just one of the many problems I've been having over the last 3 days. Sorry to bother you.

Your not bothering me, what did support say?

They just got back to me suggesting the ole "reset" solution I've tried a hundred times. I'll get back to them and let them know it hasn't worked. Maybe they'll have another fix.
Thanks

I have tried this to solve the issue with the wifi setting but there is no ionic symbol and if I choose add device then it says "no internet connection".
How does Fitbit expect a person to use the Bluetooth and or wifi to connect the Ionic to the app if the app does not allow you to turn the wifi and or Bluetooth on through the watch itself.
I want to know when Fitbit will give me a new watch or a way to fix this problem?
