I have noticed that all of a sudden there are annoying 'suggestions' like 'Why don't you start a challenge for all your friends' appearing right in the middle of my dashboard on my mobile. It uses up space so I can't see as much of my stuff without scrolling down. To get rid of it I have to click on it and let it take me to a page I have no interest in, then click to go back to my dashboard. Otherwise it just sits there. These 'suggestions' are bugging me. Is there any way to stop them? I'm getting one every few days and I really don't like it. I use facebook for social stuff, and fitbit only to track weight, sleep and activity. I'd prefer to be left alone and not nagged on my dashboard.

Welcome to the forums!
I am not getting these so I dont know if this is it or not. Just noticed this something new under Settings/Notifications.
Also dont know if are participating in these or not. But I would Uncheck them and see if it stops them

Hi WendyB,
Much appreciate your input. It's a great suggestion but I already have all those notifications unchecked and I don't participate in any groups so unfortunately I don't think that's the problem. Also, these things are coming in on my dashboard not on my phone homepage where other Fitbit notifications (badges, goals, etc.) come. They seem to be separate from the usual notifications, and almost like the ads you get in free apps.
Cheers,
FHFit

Have you run a virus scan lately? As from the bold above it sounds like you might have a Malware Virus. Its on your computer and not Fitbit. So run a scan and see if it helps.

I'm well protected and definitely don't have a virus or malware. These things are definitely coming from the Fitbit app. When clicked on they take me to the Fitbit Challenges page.
