How do I turn the green light off on the underneath of the watch

Having  several problems with my ionic

1) I cannot get my ionic to see my phone 

2) the exercise button doesn’t work

3) the green light on the inside doesn’t turn off ever 

help?

The green light is used to read your heart rate. It must always be on in order to monitor your heart rate. To turn off heart rate monitoring, press the settings icon on your watch and scroll down to heart rate and toggle off. As for the exercise button, please give more details than "doesn't work" in order for someone to better help. As for your Ionic seeing your phone, it's actually your phone that needs to see your Ionic. Lots of posts here about bluetooth syncing and phone to watch connection problems, I suggest reading though those.

While the heart rate monitoring may be turned off. it has been observed that this does not turn the lights off .

@Marnibeth I'm not sure what the exercise button might be, since unlike the Charge and Charge HR there are not any dedicated exercise buttons on the newer models. When it comes to manual exercise tracking everything may be controlled from the touch screen.

Just place your watch on its edge, not back or front, and the Ionic green light just turns itself off. Problem solved.
