Just noticing my splits and cues are at the half mile, which isn't really helpful to me on a long run. I can't figure out where to change that-- help?

From the manual...
Customize your exercise settings
Customize various settings for each exercise type right on your watch. For example, you can choose to turn GPS on or off, automatically pause an activity when you stop moving (known as Auto-Pause), receive alerts when you reach certain milestones during your workout (known as cues), and track runs with GPS automatically without opening the Exercise app (known as Run Detect).
Exercise settings on Ionic
To customize an exercise setting:
1. On Ionic, tap the Exercise app ( ).
2. Swipe through the list of exercises until you find the one you want to
customize.
3. Tap the gear icon ( ) in the top left and scroll through the list of settings.
4. Tap a setting to adjust it.

I've tried to change my cue settings to auto/1mile and it won't stick.
It says Show cues - automatically. And then I go into automatic cue settings. It is set to a cue type of miles, and then underneath that, it says cue every - so I click on cue every, and I select 1 mile, but it never seems to stick, and if I go back a menu, I would expect it to say "cue every 1 mile" with one mile in yellow, but it doesn't say anything.

Just trust that it will give you the cue. For just a pleasure run, mile points are definitely nice to know, and I think that's part of how Ionic learns our stride length. I'm still learning the Ionic too. Do you plot your home-runs in MapMyRun? That'll give pretty accurate way-points. I use manual cueing for race events, which is really marking splits, because race events almost always have very accurately placed mile marks; and for Treadmill runs I don't trust stride length calibration to come out with an accurate distance - but the t-mill dashboard display is good - maybe I can modify stride length. But I really like the running display, and set the upper as Elapsed Time, the lower as Total Distance and let the middle swipe thru a few datum like split time, split distance and usually leave it on Heart Rate because my doc said to keep an eye on the pulse rate (two stents in widowmaker). I still run 20+miles/week.

Thanks for this. I’m just starting to add running to my regime and found my Ionic was giving me cues every 0.4 Km. Why 0.4? I wanted to change it to 0.5Km but that’s not an option! 0.8 though is.
0.4 or 0.8 what’s that about? Am I missing something?
