How to change the frequency "All-Day Sync" happens

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I noticed that my Ionic loves to take its time getting my data to the server... I tried turning on "All-Day Sync" but seems to want to wait 25+ min to sync my data...  is there a way I can change this frequency to something sooner like every min?

Why is that only SOME data gets slowed down when being synced but other things like steps happen instantly to the Server (like steps)? I understand that by increasing the frequency that the device is synced means more drain on the device and my phone. I'm fine with that, my phone is plugged in a lot anyways and it cant be as bad as the drain from a Facebook app!

any help or insight into this would be appreciated!

You can't actually change it though. As this thread says, the Fitbit team is not currently planning this feature. Thanks for visiting though!

I figured as much, I like my fit bit, its the only wearable that has properly worked in a salt tank / sensory deprivation tank without getting to much nose with the sensor (this is rather hard to do!) but as a Dev, you cant get ANY live data unless you are posting TO the ionic or are Fitbit themselves. given the recent news with fitbit employees getting arrested, id think the company would want to step up what is available to devs and the consumers especially since I see more Fitbits then android, apple or Garmand devices where I live.  I have had to turn down a few medical and sleep study places from using fitbit because of this rather long delay.

Now i understand that fitbit is not in the market for devs but the end Consumers, but then again, with only the ability to post TO the device via sockets, and not https or common standards (probably in an attempt to prevent devs from getting "live" data.) I dont know why i keep trying to make fitbit listen to me when they dont... (or they don't like seeing 1/2 this forum about these questions)
