How to remove the "read the Ionic Introductory Guide" message from the iPhone app home screen

I've just set up my new Ionic today. Everything is working as expected. There's just one small annoyance: on the homescreen of my iOS Fitbit app there's a large message in the middle saying "read the Ionic Introductory Guide to get the most out of your watch". How do I get rid of this message? I've tried clicking on it and reading (well, scrolling through anyway) the guide, several times. I've tried re-syncing the device. I've tried killing the app and restarting. It's annoying me as it's taking up a big chunk of screen space. What do I have to do to make it go away? Thanks! 🙂

For the benefit of anyone else who may be looking: I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. The message was still there, BUT this time after I clicked on it and went through to the Guide screen it disappeared when I went back. So that did fix it, eventually.

They just wanted to make sure you really had read it @KatLDay 😉

Glad you got it sorted.

Yes, although FitBit does seem very determined to make me read EVERYTHING. I keep getting messages reminding me to view challenges, set up notifications, etc. I know. I've been using a Fitbit since 2011 (really, I had one of the very first ones).

It's currently stuck on "store more than 300 songs on Ionic". I'm really not that interested in storing songs on my Ionic, but the message will not go away. Argh. Please, Fitbit, can we turn these off??
