How to tell if ionic is connected to phone?

Very silly question here.

How do I tell if my ionic is still connected to phone? Sometimes I see blinking or solid fan, sometimes green, at times grey.

It is very obvious with most other apps. There is no indication on watch if it gets disconnected from phone as well.

@ruriimasu, on the app the small communications link symbol above the battery is gray if the tracker is not connected, it is flashing green if it is trying to connect, and it is solid green if it is connected.  Is that what you are asking?
