How to turn off Active Zone Minutes notifications?

When I reach the end of my regular 10k training route, I want to immediately to pause my Ionic to see what my time was - in case I somehow got a PB. However, I'm finding that it is doing this really annoying thing where I finish and immediately flick my wrist to make the watch face come to life, then go to press the lower right button (pause run)... but the watch starts getting excited about 'heart rate zones', 'in it to win it' or the like. I have to press loads of butons to get rid of the unwanted message and only then can I pause the watch - usually a good 5-10 seconds after I actually finished. It's been bugging me for ages and I figured I should grumble about it on here 😄

Can someone show me how to mute these unwanted interruptions?

Ta,

Gordon

@Gordopolis Welcome back to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for sharing these details.

I see where your disappointment is coming from.

The notifications you're getting when running are from Active Zone minutes which will show you the heart rate zone you're in. Turn off weekly Active Zone Minutes notifications in the Settings app on your device.

@luchee006 Hi there.

It should be turned off in the Settings app on your Fitbit Ionic, Versa, Versa Lite Edition or Versa 2. Full instructions can be found here
