My son locked my ionic and it tells me on the watch to "Unlock with your phone" I can't find anywhere on the ionic app to unlock the watch. Please help.

Just reset pin and it will all work out.

I tried that as well as disabling the pin. Nothing is working. I got it to work for a few hours, and it went right back to that silly "unlock with your phone" message

I tried every variation without success.
Turns out you have to log into your account via safari or another browser and delete your cards from the wallet. Then go back to the app and go through the device lock option and change your PIN number.
Finally the watch has a face now.
btw it was still logging data the whole time

Not at all. I have tried every work around and I think it is ridiculous they can't fix this. This is a $300 watch 😒

Hi,
Could there be any other solutions to this issue ...? I read thru the entire post and google searched elsewhere but nothing helps. When it asks to enter the code from ionic the "unlock from phone" pops up and no new pin is given. I tried resetting/changing pin first but kept getting hung, I then tried removing from phone and PC but no luck there either... I am just about set to return it. Can someone please offer any other solutions ...?!!? thanks.

Hi there, access to fitbit website, enter your credentials and disable the
fitbit pay from there. Then you can remove and re-add the watch through
your mobile app.

This didn't work, i think the format changed. I had to go under the wallet section to change the pin .

Hello Fitbit, i still cannot acces my Ionic. I removed it from my phone app and now i cannot add it because my Ionic is not giving me a new pin code because it says unlock with your phone. I am getting very stressed by this. Please send me a solution for this problem.

I tried that but it never let me enter in a new pin. Then I removed fitbit ionic from my account and tried to re-add but it says to enter pin on ionic but my ionic still says unlock from phone. it is just a loop. I also tried to remove/add bank info but it does not let me remove becasue nothing is there and since my ionic is not linked and cant link it, I cant add or add and remove bank info to try and unlock ionic. any other suggestions ...?

Hi mate, I have a versa so not sure if it’s the same. I logged into my account from the computer and deleted the credit card details. Then went through the start up again and it worked.

Log in to your account from an external app like safari. Then delete cards. Then should go through and start again.

I have followed several "accepted solutions". However, after I removed the ionic and tried to "set up" again, the 4 digit pairing number will not display on the watch. i.e. still getting "unlock with phone" So now I don't even have the watch showing as a device on my phone (or on the dashboard of PC. Where to from here?
