Welcome to the Community Forums @Frankfreud! Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:
To get more information, see: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
I really appreciate your understanding. I'll be around if you need further assistance!

I own an Ionic and a Huawei P20 which I couldn't use with the Ionic because of compatibility issues: The Ionic was found, but the watch crashed and rebooted as soon as I tried to sync.
After I installed the Firmware update on the Ionic this morning, syncing worked flawlessly. Obviously somebody fixed the relevant bug. 🙂

Welcome on board @Zappes! Great news! Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with.

So I can see info for the P20 (compatible) and the P20 Lite (non-compatible). Any info around the P20 or has this been missed. I'm about to make a decision on whether to buy an Ionic but this thread is turning me off it.

Well, the P20 is mostly compatible. I have noticed that the connection is far from reliable - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If a fellow P20 owner would ask me if he should buy the Ionic, I'd tell him that it's not a good idea, to be honest.

Thanks Zappes, I appreciate the advice. I'm currently looking at the Huawei Smart watches so will likely steer wide of the FitBit based on what I have read here.
