I just recently noticed that my cardio fitness score took a huge leap. Also instead of a specific number I now have a range. The score is way to high and according to the help text in the app it should get more accurate with more runs. Anyone else with the same issue?

Weird that it reset back to default based on resting heart rate / age / etc.
If you haven't already read the help for that feature, you can read it here:

Really don’t know what happend. I run 3-5 times each week with the gps. It shouldn’t revert back from a specific number to a range.

Agreed. You could try resetting Ionic, or just reach out to Fitbit tech support and see what they have to say.

I might have found the reason for the range estimate instead of a specific number. In the help text for cardio fitness it is stated that you need to use the run exercise. I use the bike exercise to avoid distance calculation in the result based on stride.
