I can’t get my Ionic to pair with Apple Airpods

I can’t get my Ionic to pair with my Apple Airpods. I’ve tried everything except coming here: turning off my phone (to which they’re already paired), turning off bluetooth on both phone and computer, Google for solutions, etc. I’ve followed instructions in the Fitbit User Guide to a T for how to pair them to the airpods. I’ve tried both leaving the airpods in the white container and taking them out. No matter what I DO, they simply don’t pair. Help!

Okay, I figured out what I was doing wrong and I’ll repost it here so that someone else doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel. On the back of the Apple charger case holding the airpods is a tiny white button. I needed to push it while the Fitbit was looking for the Airpods in order to pair them.

That's good of you to mention as I've seen a number of people having issues pairing the Apple Airpods and since I don't use Apple products I have not been able to offer any help on this.  I'm sure others will appreciate your post

Do you press the button on the air pod case, to pair with ionic, with air pods in or out of the case?

Go to the community feed for help, but there is a small white button on the outside of the AirPods holder, pushing that allows the AirPods to pair w/ the ionic. However, you will likely notice that you CANNOT increase the volume on your AirPods and this seems to be an ongoing problem that Fitbit has not corrected. I am hoping for that to resolve soon!!!!! I hope you see this Fitbit Tech support and fix this problem.

I did this and it did pair to my ionic. To find it then go to settings on your ionic scroll to Bluetooth and you should see AirPods. Touch that and it should connect to them. Although I have the problem where I cannot change the volume. I have done a live chat with Fitbit and they say they are working on this problem. I hope this helps!

Got them paired. Problem the AirPods were paired and not recognized. Had to remove and pair again. That worked. Fitbit support got me there. Thanks.
