Maybe i am speaking for myself but not being able to see lap splits is a killer. Why is it recording calories per laps? I've never heard of such a useless metric. I dont see a mechanism to change it to splits. It makes the watch useless for training and a reason not to recommend it for swimmers. The developers need to talk to users before they set stuff up like this. I have a $30 lap counter that records splits- sheesh!

This is NOT solved! The FitBit app is useless for swim splits. "Voting" for Fitbit to fix a bug in their software design is not a solution.

just saw this post from 4 years ago. the new Sense also only records calories per lap (you can change the length of laps). So mine shows calories per 100 yds. Worthless metric, when it could be showing time or pace per 100 yes
