I have the same song in multiple playlists, it will be transfered once or multiple times?

If you have the same song in multiple playlists, does it use space for each instance or does each playlist reference the same file?

Hey there @Vancelot, thanks for stopping by! If you copy multiple play lists that contain some of the same songs you will have duplicates.

 

When you make the playlist, it references the songs in their locations on the computer, without hard-coding the path, which would break things when synced to the Ionic. If you don't have two copies of a song on the computer, the Ionic will not make a separate copy of that song.
