I have to clear notifications to receive new ones

After using Ionic for 2 months, I notice that Ionic doesn't notify me any more if I ignore the notifications. To get the notifications to work again, I have to clear all the ignored notifications.

This can be annoying as I have to clear the notifications when I wake up every morning as notifications will continue to come in even when I'm asleep, so that I can be notified when I'm awake.

Personally, I prefer the Garmin's way of notification. It notifies you whether or not you ignore the notifications.

Not sure if this is an intended feature or bug... hope this can be fixed to just notify regardless of whether notifications are ignored.

It's great to have you on the Community @panda88! I appreciate the details that you've mentioned.

When you receive a notification, you will only be able to open it, this will open the app on your phone or you can delete it from the notification center. If you don't wish to receive notifications on your Ionic when you're asleep you can set this setting on your watch by doing the following: 

- Tap your Ionic and navigate through it, until you find settings 

- Scroll down, tap on Notifications 

- Change the settings for: During exercise, during sleep or device locked 

Ionic stores up to 30 notifications, after which the oldest are replaced as you receive new ones.

That doesn't seem to happen. Like I mention, I have to clear the old notifications, then the new ones will start to come in. If I don't do so, no notifications will come in. The notifications are working fine...

Yes, I've tried the troubleshooting. I'm not receiving newer notifications if I fail to clear the old notifications. Once I clear the old notifications, the new notifications will start coming in again.

It seems to be a peculiar feature/bug of Ionic.
