I think my battery just burned out

I charged my Ionic last night and put it back on about 3 hours ago. My Ionic just got really hot, the screen went black and it would not reset. I took it off and connected it to the charger. THe watch is working now, in that it is showing the time, but it is not charging. Do I need a new battery?

Welcome to the forums!

 

The batteries are not replaceable. But to not try and charge again if its getting hot.
