I think I have bricked my Ionic. I recently set up the credit card link and set up a PIN on my Ionic. Sadly, after a few days, the PIN stopped working on my watch (I did not change the PIN - it seems to have a problem with entering a Zero).
Anyways, frustrated that I could not access any other features of my watch, I attempted to do a reset. While rebooting (and this appears to have been a fatal mistake), I removed my watch from my fitbit profile with the intent to starting the reset from scratch (just like I did a week earlier).
Since the watch has a PIN on it, this did not work. I am now left with a watch that is not joined to my phone, laptop or account. Plus is shows the time as 7 minutes slow.
What do I do now?

Have you tried doing a factory reset using the button method?
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This will trigger the 2-button hardware restart after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, whilst continuing to hold the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

I've tried that a few times.
Because there is a PIN set on the Ionic, the reset process fails.

This is not just you. I think Ionics are getting bricked all over the place. It's going to be a tough road forward. If you can get a refund you might be better off doing that for the time being. They don't want to replace them either because the same thing will likely occur.

My Ionic was experiencing some lagging, so I tried a factory reset. The watch was working fine, was in perfect condition, had full battery and was connected to the charger. Nonetheless, the reset didn't restarted the device and it simply bricked it. And it was just a few days after my guarantee expired. The company didn't gave me any satisfactory answer. It is quite ridiculous that a regular process end up bricking your 300+USD watch and the company don't even offer the possibility of technical service. They plainly told me that the watch will not work anymore. So whoever experience something similar just don't waste time and run to get a refund if you still have the opportunity.
