My fitbit ionic seriously undercounts the laps I swim Yesterday I swam 450 yards in 21 minutes and the ionic reported only 200 yards. I can adjust the distance swum only in tenths of a mile or tenths of a kilometer. I would prefer the ability to adjust the number of laps swum instead of the distance. A tenth of a mile is approximately 7 laps of a 25 yard pool so if i swim 1/4 of a mile my adjustment choice in dashboard is to effectively under-report my swim by 3.5 laps or over-report it by that amount. I would like to be able to record with more accuracy than that. Another possible solution would be to allow a 2 decimal number in the miles adjustment for distance swum. I could also just delete the swim and manually track the time and distance in dashboard but that is a clumsy process.

I think there are some feature suggestions related to editing the exercise after being recorded. I don't quite understand why it isn't possible until now. Trackers don't know everything. It was laughable when I saw an announcement on Facebook ( FB UK&Ireland ) that now you can edit your exercises and it came to be mere editing names of a few types of exercises 😉 Yeah, always big words with disappointment lurking underneath. Optional editing of any parameter of any workout should be basic functionality in the dashboard. For me, it's annoying that I cannot edit Indoor Rowing or Treadmill.

@Durhamdude your question is a little beyond what the common Fitbit user will be able to help you with. My suggestion would be to search the Feature Suggestion Board. If you don't find a suggestion that aligns up with your thoughts then feel free to add a suggestion.
