IONIC: Change playlist mid run/activity?

Is there a way to change playlists in the middle of a run or other workout?

When moving music over to my ionic, I created two playlists... one of random songs I like running to, and one playlist full of mix tracks with interval cues (30seconds GO... stop.. GO ... mixed with music). At the end of a cue track and without ending my run on my Fitbit, I want to back out and go play a track from the other playlist. It seems I have to stop the activity to change playlists...

anyone know of a way to do this? I thought I could before the recent update, but could be wrong.

If this can’t be done, seems like something that could be easily added next update... please and thanks!

Hi @Lobomute

Currently, there isn't an easy way to do this. I believe it can only be done if the run is auto-detected, which gives you access to the Music app. But for runs started from the Exercise app, I don't think it's possible.

Work out...eat... sleep...repeat!
