I thought this was fixed, but apparently not. Today I just finally got the update that was released to all, on 12-5. That was after I did a factory reset trying to get notifications working again. However, it didn't show immediately, it took several restarts before it would show, the restarts were needed because I couldn't get it to setup after the factory reset. Which, had I been thinking clearly, should have told me there was an update available, since that is how it was for the first few updates.

@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing your experience with us! It is very strange though! Keen to hear if other users have experienced the same?
Also, were you able to get it to update successfully?
Additionally, have you checked the Feature Suggestions Board? If you have any ideas for future features you would like to see on your Fitbit device, this is the best place for asking. Feel free to search for existing feature suggestions or add you own original one!
Keep me posted!

I have yet to receive any update for my ionic. It is still on firmware 27.31.1.16.
Any advise?

Yes, I was able to finally get the update. Except for one update, my Ionic has displayed this behavior since I received it (I was one of the original Ionic's shipped, since I was part of the original pre-order group).

My iconic will not accept this firmware update. I have; restarted my phone, the iconic, and tried turning the bluetooth on and off. Trying over wifi. Its fully charged. I have no clue why its doing this.

@Girlpwr Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for performing the update on Ionic and for trying those steps to resolve this. It's unfortunate to hear that it is not being accepted.
Are you still experiencing the same? I'd recommend trying these troubleshooting steps (once again if you already did some), in the order showing there.
Are you connected to your home's Wi-Fi network? It is better if you are. Also, try getting closer to the router while doing the update.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!
