Inaccurate Heart Rate Reported

I have noticed that there are two types of inaccuracy in the Ionic heart rate.  The first is one where it detects too high or too low a heart rate.  I can solve this by moving eht watch above the wrist bone and mking sure the band is tight.  The other instance is when the data is processed and reported in the dashboard.  I always exercise with a chest strap, and have found that it agrees within 2-3 beats of the watch.  But when I look at the processed data an additional 10-30 beats are added.  I carefully watch the data on the watch and do not see abnormally higher rates.

Any one else see this??

Hello @MikeR417 you mention when looking at processed data. Where are you looking? During an exercise when the heart is shown averaged over a period of a minute . Or sitting the normal day when the average I believe is over a 5 minute. maybe 10 minute period?

During exercise (elliptical) I frequently view the watch, and my polar H10 reading on my cell phone.  After I exercise I look at the exercise dashboard.  On the dashboard I will see a spike in heart rate.  Medically it would be highly unlikely that my HR could go up like that.  It could be due to the elliptical, as I have not gotten outdoors since the winter for exercise.
