A question. When I connect my charging cable, the phone shows that is charging for a few seconds then goes dark. Is that normal or is there a setting that will keep some display lit to show charging progress?
I'd like something to reassure me the cable is connected and hasn't dislodged. The magnets are mot that secure.

The battery charge will show on the Ionic itself when you plug it in. Not sure if this helps or not, but I found out this morning that if you swipe right on the Ionic, it will tell you how much battery is left.

I believe this is normal because mine does the same. It shows me the current % of the battery and that it is charging, then the screen goes dark. I can press a button to see what it currently is at, but by design I think it's supposed to go dark

Given that the screen is a pretty large power draw in its own right, leaving it on would be pretty counter productive while charging, likely extending the charge time somewhat.
