My ionic was working just fine. Synched at 8 at night on the 16th and then literally died. I have tried everything listed in the forums and it's just completely dead. I am so upset as this was an expensive gift and I rely heavily on for multiple health reasons. Someone please help! I can not afford to replace this watch right now.

The same thing happened to me at the beginning of the year. It was completely dead. Nothing worked. They replaced my Fitbit Ionic, and it has been working great ever since.

If you really like your ionic, maybe you can plead with them for better discount since your warranty expiration was really recent (ie. < 60
days)... And you want to remain a Fitbit customer. Either way, I hope it works out!

But beware. My replacement just died after less than a year and they won't replace it because the original purchase date was over a year. Ionic's only seem to last about 9 or 10 months! They offered 25% off but I'm not going to spend any more money on Fitbit

I have to become a part of this list, just out of the blue the Ionic just stopped working and will not turn on or anything...screen stays blank. I will call their support but not going to hold my breath from what I have read. I have tried every option/technical note on how to try to reset it/force it off/etc. but to no luck. Wish someone could figure this out as I too don't have want to spend for a new Fitbit and hate to think I might have to try a different device since I have been with Fitbit since the first Charge in 2014. Will reach out to support and see how helpful/friendly they might be.

I join this dead Inonic club today being a user since 2014 of several different models and was only offered a discount on very limited amount of their products.None that interest me. I find it interesting they announced their sale to Google recently and customers, charged and working, devices suddenly go dead. Then instead of fixing we are offered a discount on limited products. Sounds like a way to promote revenue as the year winds down ........
