Interval Workout pace shows NaN'NaN" for my splits

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This is what it currently looks like: https://imgur.com/dfMxgHg

I'm also unable to export this workout as a TCX file, giving the error message:

The activity TCX file could not be downloaded. We are looking into the issue.

This is the case for all interval workouts, other activities such as walks or regular runs can be exported without a problem.

@Bouwzie Fitbit export is limited to GPS tracked activities. In other words, if the activity has a map, it can be exported as TCX.

I'm hoping Fitbit enhances the export feature for all workouts, but until then only GPS tracked activities can be exported as TCX.

I also have the NaN'NaN" in the interval timings plus Nan in the location column.  How can this be resolved please?

I'm having the same issues.  I use the Interval training mode on my Ionic to set my run/walk splits.  The default activity type is Interval but I change it to Run after I'm done (it would be nice to be able to do that before the run, or even better, add the interval option under the run activity).  The Iphone app never shows the individual splits and when I go to the Fitbit website, I see the same thing.

Seems like a simple software solution?  If Garmin can do this, why can't Fitbit?

Hi.

I have tried the function again with autoexercise set to 10 minutes as I had heard that the watch's SmartTrack recognizes an exercise that lasts at least 15 minutes.

Sadly nothing happened with NaN'NaN" still showing.

No splits showing on iphone either, although I suspect that this is a software enhancement required at some time.

I responded 1 month ago and no response from you.  Is there any fix to this issue?

Hi. Did you get the NaNNan sorted?  I’m still waiting with exactly the same problem. Very annoying given how much the Ionic costed. I’ve been informed by Fitbit that my issue has gone to Support’ but no timescale to resolve is given. To me this is code for ‘it will take a long time’.

So far I've only gotten one email from the moderator that they would report
the issue to the developers. No further update.

I assume the interval workout pace works for most people.  Or is it everyone?

I don't know what kickstarts the Fitbit people to do something.  No idea.

Hi Matt,

It's been about a month since you responded to my post regarding the Ionic's issues with showing internal lap times on the app.  Any updates on the solution to the issue so many of us are having?

I am getting “NaN,NaN” on both calories burned and steps today. Has a fix been found?

I don’t think they have figured out the fix for this issue. I finally caved and got a Garmin Vivoactive. I still run with the Ionic but mainly to get steps.

NaN'NaN disappeared from my interval splits at last.  Took 6-9 months to get a fix.  Not seen your issue.

Map still does not appear on Interval workout on iphone.

Heart rate monitor can suddenly jump on readings suggesting I should be dead.

GPS does not appear to record accurately straight away as my first lap is always mega slow.  Garmin gives, what appears, a more believable first lap timing.
