Ionic Adidas won’t connect to my Android

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My brother has a Moto Z3, which isn’t on the compatibility list, but it worked for many months. Suddenly, his Ionic Adidas Edition stopped syncing to his phone. He deleted the app, reloaded it, restarted the Fitbit, restarted his phone and nothing has worked. Spoke to someone on the phone who was no help. She said because it is not on the compatibility list that’s why it’s not working. However, it is compatible with Android OS 5.0 or higher and his is OS Android 9.0. Please help!

A warm welcome to the Community @Rdeweese25. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Ionic and Moto Z3.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried and for contacting our Support team. I've checked the list of compatible devices and the Moto Z3 isn't listed there. I totally understand that your phone has the requirements to sync with Ionic but it hasn't been tested by our Fitbit team, due to this I can't confirm that there's going to be fully compatibility.

Also, you can try this syncing troubleshooting

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

My Ionic is now saying it's not completely compatible with my phone, but it had been working reasonably well for over a year, what changed?
