I purchased an Ionic back in October 2017. The battery initially lasted 6 days per charge, but 3 months later the battery life has dropped to 2.5 days. To be clear, I only use the heart rate monitor, sync the watch with my phone each morning and track 2-3 workouts a week - additional functionality like notifications, music etc. goes unused.
I’ve spoken to the Fitbit help desk and they say the watch is operating within normal parameters so won’t exchange it. This doesn’t seem right to me, especially at the £300 price tag.
Has anyone else experienced similar performance drops?

Double check that Bluetooth classic isn't paired. This drains the battery

I have had exactly the same problem, having only had the device for 2.5 months. I agree that 2.5 days falls woefully short of the ‘up to 5 days’ life span. **ahem**ing annoying as it has quite a high price tag! I had the Sam problem with my first Surge, but FitBit replaced that, no questions!

Could it be a 3rd party app or watch face that is causing the battery issues? I noticed higher drain and even a laggy UI after changing to a 3rd party face. I changed backed to a Fitbit OEM face and both issues were resolved. Worth checking if you haven't already done so.
Good luck.

If "always connected" is on then turn it off right now, that will drain your battery. Turning off all day sync will save battery as well.

How often do you sync it and is it on All Day Sync?

Just arrived this week. However, week one with continuous sync on yielded four days and put on the charger this morning with 21%.
Color me impressed!
