I received the Blue Gray/Silver Gray version of the Ionic, but this band is clearly purple. It looks nothing like the pictures online. Anyone else have this issue?

Yup!  Mine has a lavender cast to it.  It's subtle.  I like it.  However, a guy probably wouldn't.

I agree, I'm not keen on the colour of the band. I plan to purchase a sport band when I receive my replacement Ionic.

I have never looked at it and thought lavendar.  It looks more grey that anything....to me personally.

I'm under fluorescent lights.  Maybe that's causing the color-shift?

I see the slight lavendar now that it was mentioned, but I am a 6'4" guy and to mee I see it as grey much more than anything.  Nothing but compliments today.  Glad I chose it over simple black.

Yeah I say it’s lilac, I’m not so keen on the colour so glad I have ordered the sport strap (cobalt) tho

I have the Burnt Orange with the Slate Blue band, it is rocking gorgeous, however, I have also pre-ordered the Sport Band (Cobalt Blue).  Since I'm an LEO, I tend to wear items that are Blue or Neutral.  Received a LOT of compliments about the Ionic today......
