Ionic Bluetooth and wifi disconnecting

Seems my ionic doesn’t want to keep both Bluetooth and WiFi connections. I have reset both phone and watch multiple times charged it fully and I can still watch the Bluetooth connect and disconnect in the Bluetooth menu on my phone. Every time I check my WiFi at home the connection is not working either I have to disconnect from the network and reconnect. This is painful.

I just tried syncing to windows windows app and same thing occurs it could not sync my tracker. Seem I just bought a watch.

I did a factory reset and tried to set up again and it wouldn’t make it through the update. Luckily I bought it through Amazon and I was able to return.

Welcome to the Forums @Crownj

Thanks for performing these troubleshoots, let me help you out. At this point I'd recommend performing a factory reset and keep an eye on it, if you're still getting trouble let me know so I can give you the next steps. Robot Happy

  • To perform the factory reset: On the  Ionic, open the Settings app (the gear icon)> About > Factory Reset.
  • Then you'll have to set it up again, check out the instructions for all the different platforms on this article

Remember that a factory reset erases all apps and personal data from Ionic, including cards you
added in your Wallet.

Hope it helps, keep me posted!

FYI Im following this thread, having the problem where the Ionic drops Bluetooth every night and will not reconnect in the morning.  Have steadily been following the progressive fix suggestions and have now moved to the last recourse the Factory Reset.  Fitbit will not turn back on.  Holding the left button and the and bottom right as per usual (and every other combination) will not turn back on.  Unless you have more magical suggestions this frustrated user is about to return it to the store.

I’d try the factory reset, deleting the ionic watch, reset my app It keeps dropping the Bluetooth
