Ionic Cardio Fitness Score Dropped After Reset

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Anyone had or having this problem?

New ionic, my cardio Fitness level was up to 45, then after 3 weeks my ionic would no longer sync . I  contacted support and had to reset it and link it up to another phone, upon doing this,  my cardio Fitness dropped to the lowest on the scale and hasn't changed at all over the last 3 weeks.

Anyone else had this issue or know what to do?

I'm quite active and fit,  have very good recovery and average heart rate 51-53. It shouldn't be stuck on 20 right?

@Karleeputt Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Ionic and Fitbit app not showing the correct Cardio Fitness Score. Thanks for sharing all of those details regarding this.

Please check if your weight is correct on your personal settings. It is possible that the weight on your account is not correct making the Cardio Fitness Score to show like that.

Also, are you wearing your watch to sleep? Is it tracking sleep? Your resting heart rate is important to have a correct reading.

I'd recommend taking a look at this helpful article about Cardio Fitness Score to get more details about why it may not be showing correctly.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

Hey Santi,

Thanks for replying to me query.

I took it all on board, here’a my update.

So I’ve upped my running over the last 7 weeks since returning from injury, so you would think it would change as my cardio fitness is definitely improving. It did go up 5 (now 30) and it only did this after manually starting and stopping my sleep via the phone app, I did that for about 5 days, that was about 6 weeks ago and it hasn’t changed since and I still wear it to sleep 90% of the time.

I have quite a low resting heart rate, which has gone down even lower on average since I first posted this (from 53 in Dec to 47 now in Feb).

I did notice that when I do runs on the treadmill as opposed to outside, even when choosing treadmill mode, I will run 6km and it will only register something like 2.5km, but the time obviously stays the same so it looks like it’s taken me 30 odd minutes to run 2.5kms, so then I delete the run and enter it manually, which gets rid of all the data, but I don’t do all my runs on the treadmill anyway and do other forms of cardio.

It’s a mystery I think.
