Ionic - Clock face not syncing

I had my Fitbit Ionic for 1 day. Played with the developer kit and uploaded the developer example clock face to the device. Now I can't sync any clock face. I'm connected to the app on iphone. Select the original clock face and wait for sync. The device restarts but the clock face won't change. On the app it shows the clock face I selected in the "My Clock" tab. But it's not on the Fitbit. I also did a hard reset and still no joy. Also tried other clock faces, and nothing. Am I doing something wrong or should I return the fitbit and settle for TomTom?

When you installed the developer clock it is sideloaded into the Ionic. I'm only on day 3 with the Ionic myself so no expert. But I think you have to go into the fitbit app on your phone and remove the sideloaded app from the Developer page. But I'm not sure as I was testing an app I wrote and it doesn't appear there to be deleted so it may not work. But dig around in the phone app and see.
