Ionic Died after I wore it in a pool

Hi,

After a year and a half of using the Ionic I wore it in the pool.  Now it’s dead.  This happened to my husband while his was in warranty - mine is not.  Is there anything I can do? I see tons of posts about them not actually being waterproof.  Ugh! I was on a run hitting my step goal for weeks.

Not sure I can really help, but the Ionic is supposed to be water resistant up to 50 meters, and you're supposed to be able to wear it for swim workouts, tracking laps and such.  At least that's what the website says under "features."  

 

I've worn mine in the pool while playing with my kids many times.
