Fitbit Update: Fitbit OS2.1 has been released to 100% of users!
Hi all!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.1! (Firmware Version: 27.32.10.15)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Ionic users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Ionic users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
WHAT’S NEW
Introducing quick replies. Send customized responses to text messages and messages from select messaging apps with your Fitbit watch. Note that this feature is currently only available on watches paired to an Android phone. For more information, see How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit watch?
This release includes other bug fixes and improvements.
Step by step instructions for updating your Ionic can be found here.
I recommend updating your Ionic over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Ionic to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Ionic, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

I received two Ionic from Fitbit-Support.
Both got firmware 32.10.15
Both don't have sleep stages!
Both don't count stepps correct!
Both don't show accurate heart rate!
Both have slow screen!
What a bad development!
Nothing is fixed!!!
I know, sometimes there can be a problem!
But......Ionic is not new and still has a lot of problems!!!
I think Fibit will go down and clear away from the market, when they are not going and solve the problems today!!!
😞
I forgot to mention, that missing sleep stages has nothing to do with the firmware!
It's since March where the app was updated and Fitbit has changed something on the HRV calculation for sleep stages. But they can't solve the problem since March.
Hopefully the know what they do. Currently not, for me!

I ended up having to send my tracker to FitBit personally instead of going to the retailer because the latest firmware crashed my tracker all together went from just fine to the screen glitching on the tracker to it stopped counting steps to not charging!! Tried all the factory resets had FitBit customer service even having me do all the things I googled and they even sent out I guess a diagnostic through my app and then finally just had to have me FedEx it to them! In part got my replacement from them has the latest firmware on it and I couldn't be happier!! Wish there was better options about the way to get music on it but everything else on the new update is nice!! Hope you get things concluded to your satisfaction!!

That will happen as soon as Fitbit provides correct software!
Until then, no change!

Is your credit card shown in the app?

Mine was working fine after the update, but now when I record a bike ride it won't link it with strava. The fitbit app won't let me open up the settings to look.

Restarts didn't help!
Restarts of heart rate sensor didn't help!

Here are the other improvements. Your Ionic will become a paperweight! It's useless! My first frustration with Fitbit was when they released an update to the Android App which they had a changelog for starting that you could add a Samsung S8 as a tracker - you can't, and their support staff say that it's not supported. So why put it in the changelog? Perhaps that's why they stopped writing change logs? Now I've updated my Ionic, and it won't sync. The only way I can get it to sync is to delete it from my phone, restart it, restart my phone, try adding it back in. It fails to find ionic. Restart my phone. Restart the ionic, try adding it to phone. It fails to find ionic. Restart my phone. Restart the ionic. Try adding it back in. Finds the ionic enter code on phone, fails to add ionic. Restart ionic, restart phone, cross fingers, try adding ionic to phone. Maybe this time it works and it syncs. ONCE! NEVER TO SYNC AGAIN UNTIL I REMOVE IONIC FROM PHONE AND GO THROUGH THE WHOLE #!$^!^!#%! PROCESS AGAIN.

Since the update my ionic has been really glitchy. It takes ages to find GPS when running and now it's started crashing! When's the next update coming to fix all these new issues?
