UPDATE: Fitbit OS 2.0 has been released to 100% of users.
Hi all!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.0! (Firmware Version: 27.32.4.19)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Ionic users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Ionic users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
What’s New
Fitbit Today:
Introducing Fitbit Today, an updated on-device dashboard that keeps you informed about all of your health and fitness data. Receive action-oriented and personalized content with daily and weekly health and fitness stats, historical activity, exercise summaries, and tips and tricks for using the Fitbit platform. Swipe up from the clock face to open the Fitbit Today dashboard.
Ionic users, your daily stats have moved from the Today app to Fitbit Today.
Music:
You can now add Deezer playlists to your Fitbit watch. For more information on setting up your Deezer playlists on Ionic, check out this article.
What’s Changed
Fitbit Watch Interface:
We made some updates to the way you interact with your Fitbit watch:
To learn more about these changes, open the Tips app on your watch and follow the tutorial.
Instructions for updating your Ionic can be found here.
I recommend updating your Ionic over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Ionic to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Ionic, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Move your apps around. The top right button will open the first (top left) app on your screen. I moved my exercise app there. The bottom right button open the second (bottom left) app. ( I put the leaderboard app there because I’m competitive!)

Can anyone please verify that the app “Treasure Trek” works with the 2.0 update? Even if it is verified to work, I will wait to update as bugs get ironed out.
Thanks in advance!

Why repeat what I have already posted 2 hours ago?

Good question. Maybe because I didn’t sit and read through the last two hours of posts. Maybe because I just wanted to be helpful. Maybe because I’m not aggressive by nature as you appear to be. But thank you for the question. Have a lovely day.

lol you're funny! Last 2 hours worth of posts? It was less than a page ago smh
And aggressive? It was a question.. as opposed to your passive aggressive reply.

Similar problem. Update to OS2 appeared to finish - blue bar was done, phone went through updating progress, installing, then stuck on “cleaning up”. Watch stuck on “sparkling diamond” screen. (Is there a better name for that?) finally did a two button reset (back-down) and the watch restarted without the os2 update. I’m particularly surprised that the update appeared to make that much progress but the watch still had an apparently intact OS of the previous version. Hopefully someone from Fitbit will address these posts.

I noticed that the update was available yesterday but didn't install it. I remembered when I woke up and saw my ionic was stuck on a screen with a grey Fitbit logo. I checked in my phone in the app and it had started the update. Now if I pressed buttons on my ionic while sleeping I don't know, I don't know if the update can be started from the ionic. I've had syncing issues since I got it, I've been patient. It's been stuck on a green screen for at least 40 mins now. It seems like an update failed, it asked me to connect the charger to calibrate and then a green screen. Would it be time for a recall on possibly many defective models? Can I ask for a refund ? it hasn't worked like people claim it has for me. I don't even know anymore why I've been so patient.

@SunsetRunnerwrote:Long pressing the top right button will still show notifications. Just a quick press should activate the shortcut.
@Jim-LaQuintawrote:Doesn't work for me either on 2.0. Top button is Notifications and Bottom button doesn't do anything.
Ahh ofc. Forgot it was a short click. Thanks. 🙂

I love my fit bit. I have had many style over the last few years. I am now frustrated for the first time tho. I have the Ionic and have been using it for a few months now. Last night there was an update so I clicked it and went to sleep. This morning the watch still had the Fit Bit symbol on the screen and wont move. I have tried turning it off but it wont do anything when I press the buttons. I also tried turning my iphone off and back on in case it was a signal issue. I lastly tried to delete the Ionic and re load it but now it wont reload in my phone AND the watch STILL has the Fit Bit icon on the screen. It was fine before the update and now I wish I hadn't tried doing the update. Any suggestions? and did anyone else have this problem with the update?

Just did the update, not sure how long it took but maybe 15 mins or so. All went well with that.
Initial response was, i dont like this, I want to go back to old os, however replies here allowed me to move exercise back to where i always liked it on bottom right button and music to top right, so thanks to those who posted that tip. I didnt know apps could be moved like that.
Still not sure about the new "today", maybe more time using that will change my mind.
I liked to swipe right to get to battery charge level from watchface, but now moved into "today" , would have liked to have kept that as was, even if the swipe only showed battery level and the other things were moved.
So on the whole ok, but please can i swipe right for charge level in next update ?
